  •  Adira Energy Ltd.

    Adira is a Canadian domiciled oil & gas exploration and development company. Adira Energy has been granted and/or acquired petroleum licenses (or interests therein) covering 270,000 acres on and offshore in Israel. PowerOne has been an advisor to Adira since its inception and was instrumental in their license acquisitions through providing confirmation of financial support amongst other services. PowerOne was also involved in Adira's most recent USD$11,000,000 financing.
  • AfriOre Ltd.

    AfriOre Ltd. was a minerals exploration company with gold and PGM projects and was engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of resource properties in Africa and elsewhere. AfriOre was ultimately sold to Lonmin Plc. in 2007 for approx CAD $450M. PowerOne was a member of the syndicate raising CAD $7,000,000 in its early stages of operation.
  • Aurelian Resources Inc.

    Aurelian was a gold exploration company in Ecuador. PowerOne and its principals were instrumental in the creation of Aurelian, its initial financings as well as Aurelian's going public transaction. Aurelian was sold to Kinross Gold for $870M in 2008 based on its 13,700,000 ounce gold discovery.
  • Auryx Gold

    Auryx was a Canadian, growth-focused, resource company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of gold projects in Namibia. PowerOne was instrumental in assisting the company acquire the Otjikoto 2million Oz. gold deposit, and raising approximately CDN $48 million as required for the acquisition of the asset and initial working capital. Since Auryx's IPO in June 2010, PowerOne also acted as an advisor to the company for a CDN $30 million bought deal financing. On December 22, 2011, B2 Gold Corp. acquired Auryx for $160M. PowerOne acted as an advisor to Auryx on this transaction.

  • Aus Potash Corp.

    AusPotash was acquired by Sirius Exploration Plc in 2008. Sirius Exploration Plc is a diversified mining and exploration holding company. The Company has major interests in properties overlying three recognized – and significant - salt deposits in North America and Australia. PowerOne was involved in raising approximately CAD $4 million and has also serviced the company in a financial advisory role.
  • Azimuth Resources Limited

    Azimuth was a junior exploration company listed on the ASX, prior to being acquired by Troy Resources Limited in February 2013 from AUD$188 Million. Azimuth had an impressive portfolio of gold projects in Guyana. Prior to its acquisition, Azimuth was focused on its multimillion ounce gold resource that spans over 8,000km2 of the East and West Omai projects. The geology of this region is similar to the West African Shield on the other side of the Atlantic. Further enhancing the prospects of Azimuth's projects is well established local infrastructure, hydro power currently under development, a strong management team, and a recently completed resource drilling program. PowerOne was instrumental in the creation of Azimuth in 2007 and acted as an agent for the company for its early financings.
  • Brownstone Energy Inc.

    Brownstone Energy Inc., formerly known as Brownstone Ventures Inc. is a Canadian-based, energy-focused investment company with direct interests in oil and gas assets around the world. By owning and managing a diversified portfolio of energy-based projects, Brownstone provides shareholders with a unique energy investment alternative. PowerOne is currently Brownstone's primary financial advisor and continues to work closely with the company. PowerOne has also helped Brownstone raise over CAD $52 million.
  • Canwest Petroleum Corporation

    Canwest Petroleum, now operating as Oilsands Quest Inc., is a public company engaged in a variety of projects in the oil and gas industry in Western Canada with an emphasis on the oil sands. The company is aggressively exploring Canada's largest contiguous oil sands land holding, which is located in northeast Alberta and northwest Saskatchewan. Oilsands Quest is leading the development of an oil sands industry in the province of Saskatchewan. PowerOne acted as advisor to Canwest Petroleum.
  • Colossus Minerals Inc.

    The principals of PowerOne are the co-founders, advisors and financiers of Colossus Minerals Inc. which is currently advancing their high grade gold/platinum/palladium project toward production in Serra Pelada, Brazil. Since 2007, PowerOne has helped Colossus Minerals Inc. raise over CDN $300 million and was most recently part of syndicate in the company's CDN $28.75 million bought deal financing in June 2013 and $33 million marketed offering in August 2013.
  • Continental Gold Ltd.

    Continental is an advanced stage gold exploration and development company formed in May 2007 that has seven 100% owned gold exploration projects on over 100,000 hectares of exploration concessions in some of the most prospective gold districts in Colombia. PowerOne has acted as merchant bankers, financiers, and advisors to the company and have helped the company raise over CDN $180 million since inception. The company has performed over 189,000 metres of surface and underground drilling completed to date on its flagship project Buritica. In October 2012 the company released a 43-101 compliant Resource indicating 5.4M oz Gold and 18.8M oz silver in the Measured, Indicated and Inferred Categories. Extensive drilling has continued since that time to grow the resource.
  • Dalradian Resources Inc.

    Dalradian is a gold explorer working to advance its high grade Tyrone project in Northern Ireland. The project has an NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate and the company has published a Preliminary Economic Assessment which indicates the project to have pretax IRR of 51.7% and an after tax NPV of $467M (at an 8% discount rate). PowerOne has helped Dalradian raise over C$40mm to date and was an advisor to the Company for its C$25mm bought deal financing completed in February 2012.
  • Delavaco Energy Inc.

    Delavaco was a private oil & gas exploration and production company headquartered in Calgary and Toronto, Canada, with a regional operations office in Bogota, Colombia. Delavaco was incorporated in November 2007. From November 2007 through 2008 the company raised funds by way of Private Placements to finance the purchase of prospective oil assets and operations. PowerOne was a member of syndicates which raised over $13 million during this time. In September 2009, Alange Energy Corp. acquired from the shareholders of Delavaco all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Delavaco in exchange for common shares of Alange Energy. PowerOne Capital Markets Limited acted as a strategic advisor for Delavaco in connection on this transaction.
  • Delavaco Properties Inc.

    Delavaco Properties owns a growing portfolio of Single Family and Multiunit Residential rental properties in the United States with a focus on Florida, Georgia and Texas. With a specialized knowledge of the jurisdictions in which it has invested, Delavaco has a unique advantage over other market participants. As of September 2013, Delavaco owned over 700 Single Family Homes and over 700 Units in Multiunit Residential Complexes. PowerOne and its principals have been instrumental in the creation of Delavaco and have acted as a primary advisor and financier to Delavaco since its inception in 2011.

  • Evolving Gold Corporation

    Evolving Gold is focused on exploring its significant discovery at Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming, an alkalic gold system, similar to the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado.

  • Eurotin Inc.

    Eurotin is a mineral exploration company with properties located in Spain. The Corporation's principal project is the Oropesa property, which is located in Cordoba province, Region of Andalucia, southern Spain. The project is interpreted as being a classic 'brittle fracture' system, consisting of unusually wide (for tin deposits) mineralized structures, located above a deeply buried granite, the original source of the tin mineralization.

    PowerOne acted has as advisors and financiers for Eurotin, and has helped raise over $14M.

  • IC Potash Corp.

    IC Potash (formerly Intercontinental Potash Corp.) is developing its Ochoa New Mexico property with the primary purpose of using Polyhalite as feedstock to produce Sulphate of Potash ("SOP"). SOP or Potassium Sulphate, is premium priced potash. SOP is used as a significant alternative fertilizer to sylvite (Muriate of Potash or MOP) for agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, tobacco, potatoes, and horticultural plants. SOP has low "salinity" compared to MOP, and therefore is also used in various saline soils, which are found in China, India, the Mediterranean and the United States. PowerOne was instrumental in advising management during the creation and restructuring of Intercontinental Potash, as well as advising the company on its reverse takeover transaction in 2009 and with respect to various financings.
  • Keek Inc.

    Keek is a free online & mobile micro video social network that allows its users to share video status updates, called "keeks". Users can post keeks using a webcam or via the Keek mobile apps for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone. Keek was an early entrant into the rapidly growing video based social networking space. PowerOne was an early financier of Keek, assisting with financing for the very first Beta Version in 2011. As of August 2013, Keek has over 60 Million registered users from across the globe and is growing at a rapid pace.

  • Latin American Minerals Inc.

    Latin American Minerals is a dynamic mineral exploration company managed by individuals with a proven and consistent history of discovery. The company is committed to creating shareholder value by focusing on the acquisition and development of emerging exploration opportunities in the under-explored but highly prospective countries of South and Central America. The company is currently focused on its Paso Yobai Epithermal Gold Project in Paraguay where it has begun to operate their fully permitted pilot plant and advance exploration on other locally identified targets. Latin American Minerals is also working on its Tendal Zinc, Copper, Lead, Silver Project in La Rioja Argentina where exploration has outlined a stratabound massive sulphide horizon up to 80 metres thick which can be traced along strike for 2 kilometres.
  • Leonovus Inc.

    LeoNovus Inc., via its proprietary Dark Core Technology offers a unique technology to a diverse group of markets that require efficient processing, preservation, and accurate management of immense amounts of data with the benefit of significant energy and real-estate cost reductions, while at the same time offering companies and organizations within these markets the ability to create new revenue streams. Currently, LeoNovus has made inroads into the Internet, data center, hospitality, and health care markets. The LeoNovus Software platform also supports connected devices with access to all the features, content, and functionality available on the Web without the malware, security and support issues of a PC. The LeoNovus efficient "Dark Core" processing technology allows for full and efficient utilization of idle processors within and across LeoNovus-enabled hardware systems for purposes of delivering fast, secure, and cost-effective storage systems and compute capabilities for the enterprise. PowerOne acted as co-Agent on Leonovus' $2.4 Million financing in August 2013.

  • Lithium Americas Corp.

    Lithium Americas is an exploration and development company focused on the exploration and development of a large Lithium & Potash project in Argentina. The company has published a Feasibility Study on Phase 1 of its project which indicates the project to have a pretax NPV of $738M (at an 8% discount rate) and a pretax IRR of 23%. PowerOne was involved in the creation and private financings of the company and also acted as an advisor to the company on its IPO in May 2010. To date PowerOne has assisted the company in raising $64.6M and has also played in integral role in facilitating discussions with the company's strategic partners.

  • Mega Precious Metals Inc.

    Mega Precious is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company with several projects in Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Nunavut. Mega is committed to an accelerated growth strategy and is backed by a team of experienced mining experts. Mega Precious's Monument Bay Project, located in northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba is Mega's most advanced project. It has an NI 43-101 compliant measured plus indicated mineral resource of 1.046 M ounces of gold (12.989 million ones grading 2.5 g/t gold) and an inferred mineral resource of 1.726 million ounces of gold (14.22 million ones grading 3.78 g/t gold). Mega Precious trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "MGP". PowerOne has assisted the company with financings totaling $33M in 2011 and 2012, and has previous also acted as financiers and advisors to the company.

  • Mega Uranium Ltd.

    Mega Uranium is a Canadian mineral resources company with a focus on uranium. It has uranium resources in Australia and uranium exploration projects in Australia, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Canada and Cameroon. In addition to these, Mega Uranium has also interests in base and precious minerals exploration properties in Canada and Latin America. PowerOne has been involved with Mega Uranium since its inception in both a financial and advisory capacity.
  • Merus Labs Inc.

    Merus Labs Inc. is a specialty pharmaceutical company engaged in the acquisition and licensing of niche pharmaceutical products throughout North America. By capitalizing on its expertise of the North American pharmaceutical markets and access to capital, Merus is currently focused on building its portfolio of products. Merus strategically develops the sale and distribution of their product line by introducing a targeted re-launch marketing and promotional plan. PowerOne was instrumental in the creation of the company and has helped Merus raise over $100M in Debt and Equity since its inception.

  • Petrolifera Petroleum Limited

    Petrolifera was a Calgary-based crude oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company active throughout South America. Petrolifera held interests in approximately six million acres of petroleum and natural gas rights in eleven onshore concessions or licenses in Argentina, Colombia and Peru. PowerOne had been the primary advisor and merchant bank to Petrolifera since its inception which included acting as the advisor to the company on its Initial Public Offering and assisting the company in raising approximately CDN $30 million for exploration. In January 2011, Petrolifera was sold to Gran Tierra Energy Inc. for approximately CAD$195M.

  • Primary Petroleum

    Primary Petroleum Corporation is an oil and gas exploration company with its primary projects located in Montana. The company has prospective land positions in the Alberta Basin Bakken Fairway in Western Montana and in the Northwest area of the Williston Basin in Eastern Montana. Primary holds over 310,000 gross acres in the Bakken areas. The company is also engaged in the acquisition and development of oil & gas prospects in the western Sedimentary Basin. PowerOne has played an active role in multiple financings of Primary Petroleum.

  • Primera Energy Resources Ltd.

    Primera Energy is independent Canadian oil and gas company which becam publically listed in January 2007. Since 2005, Primera has acquired assets onshore Trinidad, and has interests in assets located onshore India and in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin of Canada. Primera continues to pursue opportunities onshore Trinidad in the highly productive Southern Sedimentary Basin. PowerOne was involved in the $4 million early stage equity financing of the company.
  • Ryan Gold Corp.

    Ryan Gold is a gold exploration company formed through the merger of Valdez Gold Inc. Ryan Gold Inc. in December 2010, and currently trades on the TSX under the symbol RYG.

    The company is focused on gold exploration in the Yukon Territory, Canada and Alaska, USA. In the Yukon, Ryan Gold is exploring the Ida Oro Property located 60 km to the east of Dawson City and 25 kilometers to the east of Brewery Creek Mine. To the west of Dawson the company is earning in on a joint venture with Valley High Ventures on the Flume Property, located at the head waters of Ten Mile Creek, where active placer mining is taking place. The company is also exploring its Fifty Mile project located 60 km south-south west of Dawson City.

    In Alaska the company is exploring the Bluff Project located approximately 90 km to the east of Nome on the Seward Peninsula. The company is earning in on the project through a joint venture with Millrock Resources Inc. PowerOne has acted as co- founders, and advisors to the company and has helped the company raise in excess of CDN $60 million.
  •  Santa Maria Petroleum Inc.

    Santa Maria Petroleum Inc. (formerly Quetzal Energy Ltd.) is a Canadian-based energy company with exploration and production assets in the Llanos Basin, Colombia. PowerOne is a longstanding financier and advisor to Santa Maria having helped Santa Maria raise over CAD $20 million. PowerOne also advised Santa Maria with respect to its reverse takeover of Southhampton Ventures in April 2009 and was also responsible for the financing component of the transaction.
  • Sprylogics International Inc.

    Sprylogics International develops advanced search and analysis technology. The patent pending technology platform uses Semantic and Machine Learning techniques to process, analyze and interpret unstructured data including real time conversation, in order to extract key sentiments, facts, user interests and intent. The technology platform is currently being used to develop innovative solutions related to search and discovery of products and places on mobile devices. PowerOne acted as an advisor and financier to Sprylogics on its 2013 restructuring and relaunch and continues to work closely with management.

  • Stans Energy Corp.

    Stans Energy is focused on developing Rare Earth Elements (REEs), Uranium, and associated metals. Stans Energy is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and has local offices at its project location in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Stans Energy Corp's Chairman, Rodney Irwin, is the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic for Canada. Stans owns five mineral properties in Kyrgyzstan, of which Kutessay II is most advanced.

  • Unigold Inc.

    Unigold Inc. is a gold exploration company with a substantial portfolio of projects in the Dominican Republic. Unigold trades on the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol UGD. The company has been committed to advancing their 100 percent owned Neita property (22,616 hectares) located in northwest Dominican Republic. Mineralization on the Neita property ranges from copper-gold porphyry systems such as Corozo to high-sulphidation epithermal gold. Unigold's exploration projects may benefit from exceptional project geology and an open business climate in the Dominican Republic. PowerOne has been involved with Unigold since 2004 and has helped the company raise over $28M. Most recently, PowerOne acted as an agent to raise $2.5M in Dec 2011 and as a member of the syndicate raising $10.5M in February 2012.

  • Waymar Resources Ltd.

    Waymar Resources Ltd. ("Waymar") is a Canadian mineral exploration company with an option to acquire 100% interest in the Anzá project located in the west of the Antioquia Department in the Republic of Colombia. Colombia is a significant producer of gold, nickel, emeralds, petroleum and natural gas as well as a leading producer of coal in Latin America. It is the fourth ranked gold producer in Latin America after Peru, Brazil and Chile. PowerOne was actively involved with Waymar's inception and has also helped Waymar raise over CAD $16.5M.
  • Western Potash Corp.

    Western Potash is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, evaluation and exploration of potash mineral properties in Western Canada. Western Potash Corp. has over 860,000 acres of potash permits and applications in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada.

    In May 2008, PowerOne acted as the advisor to the company as part of a $45M reverse takeover transaction.
